Just in time for gift-giving, we are thrilled to announce 3 new gift voucher features that we have developed based on your feedback. Now you can:

• Offer discounts on generic money vouchers.
• Allow customers to redeem gift vouchers from the promotion code field and at checkout.
• Let customers buy multiple same-value generic gift vouchers at a time.

These new features are built to help you sell more gift vouchers, so take a look – and put them to work for you this holiday season.

Offer discounts on generic gift vouchers.
Now you can offer discounts on generic gift vouchers. Here’s how: Let’s say you want to set up a promotion that gives a 10% discount on generic gift vouchers. For a $100 gift voucher, a customer using the promotion code pays $90, but the value of the gift voucher is still $100.

Want to offer a discount for your $100 vouchers, but not for your lower-value vouchers? No problem. In your promotion settings, under Voucher Amounts, simply check the voucher amounts you want the promo code to be valid for – as shown here.

How these discounts and voucher values are tracked in Bookeo
When you open a gift voucher from your Bookeo dashboard, or when you generate a gift voucher report from Marketing>Reports>Gift vouchers, you will be able to see the original value of the voucher, the total price paid for the voucher, and the promotion used to purchase the voucher.

Allow customers to redeem gift vouchers from the promotion code field and at checkout.
Your customers told you… you told us… and we listened. Now your customers can redeem gift vouchers and promotion codes using the same field in the booking page, and at checkout.

Here’s how the “Enter code” button for gift voucher/promotion codes looks in the main booking page:

To make sure your customers see it, the new “Enter code” button for gift voucher/promotion codes is also shown at checkout, directly below the total price of the booking. It’s impossible to miss!

If you previously integrated links or widgets for gift voucher redemption in your website, there’s no need to remove them. Your customers will still be able to redeem gift vouchers using those links or widgets.

Your customers can also use both a promotion code and a gift voucher by entering the codes in the field, separated by a comma. For example: ABCD, FDG5TG6, HAS78S.

Let customers buy multiple same-value generic gift vouchers at a time
Got customers who want to buy several gift vouchers for friends, family, or coworkers? Now your customers can purchase and account users can sell up to 20 gift vouchers of the same monetary value. For example, they can buy twenty $50 gift vouchers in a single transaction using our new generic gift voucher booking cart.

When customers want to purchase generic gift vouchers, or when account users create a generic gift voucher from their Bookeo calendar, they can select the specific number of gift vouchers they want, as shown here.

After the purchase, Bookeo sends the buyer an email with all the voucher details as shown below, including the ability to create a customized gift card for each different voucher.
