Client arrival times and pickup locations just got a lot easier

Your Bookeo account now includes two fantastic new features built to help you improve your client communications and check-in experiences.

You can now set and communicate early arrival times to streamline your check-ins. Additionally, pickup locations for your tours and activities now come with improved features.

Allow more time for check-ins with early arrival times

With Bookeo’s new Arrival Time feature, you can now clearly communicate to your clients how early they should arrive before the start of a booking. This information will be displayed on the booking confirmation page after checkout, as well as on the confirmation and reminder emails sent to customers.

The arrival time for each booking is dynamically calculated from the booking start time in your calendar. So if a booking starts at 3 PM, for example, and you’ve set the arrival time for 15 minutes before, your customers’ checkout confirmations will advise them to arrive 15 minutes early. Additionally, reminder emails will automatically inform them to arrive by 2:45 PM.

Enhanced pickup locations for Tours/Activities

Your Bookeo Tours and Activities account now features an improved pickup locations feature, with several helpful new options that are easy to customize. For each pickup location, you can choose to show a description and an image during the booking process, along with an optional pickup price.

Location-specific pickup time

You can now set a pickup time for each location. For example, for a 9 AM. tour, if you select 20 minutes for a particular location, if the customer chooses that pick-up location, the pickup time is automatically displayed as 8:40 AM. This will be shown in the confirmation and reminder emails.

Location-specific customized message

To help your customers get to the right place, each pickup location comes with the option to display a customized message in the booking confirmation and reminder emails. This can include links (for example, a Google Maps link) and images, such as a photo of the pickup point.

And to make your life even easier, remember that you can set up pickup locations as regular or global options. So if you offer the same pickup locations for multiple tours, setting these up as global options lets you apply them to all your tours in one go!
